3. You’ve figured out what you want to do with your life
4. You’re getting your nose pierced again
5. You’re eighteen in six weeks
6. You get tattooed in six weeks
7. You get to live with me
8. You’ve found amazing friends who actually give a shit
9. My mum is basically your mum and she is pretty gr8
10. You’re currently at Michaels drinking beer and watching films
11. You get to see Igor tomorrow (if he isn’t lazy and picks me up) and his face cheers everyone up
12. Get to see your old friends tomorrow
13. You have a nice bum
14.  You’ve got loads of money to buy new clothes
15. There are snickers ice creams in the freezer 

I’m so sick of seeing and hearing jokes every single day about the ‘R’ word. Every day someone will say something about it or write something about it, as if it’s a meaningless subject, not the single most soul destroying experience of a human beings life. It is not funny to remind someone of the severe emotional pain they have suffered and will suffer every single day until the day they die for the sake of a few laughs. 

There is so much more I could say but I won’t. Except next time you go to say it, type it, sing it, whatever, please think that 1 in 4 people have been a victim, 1 in 4 people will feel sick to their stomach when they hear that word, 1 in 4 people will be reminded of the horrific pain they went through, 1 in 4 people will have to convince themselves that it was not their fault, that they are not to blame, that they did not deserve it whilst everyone else laughs at what feels like their expense.

I get we have freedom of speech but with that should come compassion and respect for others, so please try to show some.
